The job

Prove the drill fixed something

After an exercise, prove the problems you found actually got fixed—not just that someone wrote a report.

ResolveTrack is the system of record for that loop: captured observations, approved findings, the after-action report, owned corrective actions, and independent proof.

The problem

After a tabletop or full-scale exercise, agencies often end with sticky notes, a Word AAR that lost its sources, action lists nobody owns, and “completed” items with no independent proof. Lessons vanish when people rotate. Leadership asks: are we more ready—or did we just file a report?

ResolveTrack is built for that gap. It is not live dispatch, not an investigative case system, not a classified system, and not a general project-management tool. It is a workspace for exercise accountability.

One exercise, one pipeline

1. Capture what happened

Players and controllers log observations during or after the exercise—tied to objectives, with identity and time kept for the record.

2. Decide what’s real

Facilitators approve findings, request clarification, or set noise aside. Only approved items feed the report.

3. Report from sources

Generate an after-action draft from approved observations. Sections stay traceable to what people actually saw.

4. Fix with owners

Gaps become corrective actions: priority, due date, owner—not a static PDF in email.

5. Prove it closed

Owners submit evidence. A different person verifies. “Done” means proven, not self-attested.

Who ResolveTrack is for

  • Emergency management agencies and EOCs
  • Police, fire, EMS, and public health exercise programs
  • School safety and multi-agency regional training
  • Teams that must show readiness improved—not only that an exercise was held

Boundaries

ResolveTrack prioritizes human review, source traceability, role-based access, and independent verification. It is not a substitute for operational command systems or investigative drafting tools. Use it for exercises, training AARs, corrective-action accountability, and readiness improvement tracking.
